About–Â A popular variety grown for Halloween, Jack-o’-lanterns. Produces abundant yields of 15-30 lb. bright orange pumpkins that are round with flat ends.
When and Where to Plant–Â Plant outside after all chance of frost has passed and the soil temperature is above 65 F degrees. Prefers heavily amended soils and full sun.
Care and Harvest–Â Water heavily 1-2 times per week. When vines begin to die and the skin is tough, cut the pumpkin from the vine and allow to harden in the garden.
