Daisy, Crazy
Daisy, Crazy
Leucanthemum × superbum Â
A welcomed variation on the Shasta Daisy, ‘Crazy’ Daisy is easy to grow from seed, drought tolerant, and has a long bloom period (about 2 months under optimal conditions). The petal shapes are intriguing with everything in between flat to quilled, and single to fully double petals. 20% of blooms have closed centers. Some individual plants are reminiscent of mums with their quilled, doubled, and varying lengths of petals. Long lived and easy to divide. A perennial garden mainstay with edible leaves that can be added to late Spring salads.
