Green Grape Tomato
Developed at Cornell University, Green Grape is a sweet green sensation for your palate. Like all grape tomatoes, it pops in the mouth with a tangy sweetness. It yields loads of fruit in big clusters; the small fruits’ green appearance belies their flavor, which is fresh, bright, and sweet. Green Grape pairs beautifully with other colored cherries in a summer salad. Like all green tomatoes, ripeness is discernible from the color (a light hint of orangey-yellow develops behind the green), from touch (the fruit grow slightly softer), and from the ease at which the fruit detach from the stem (they should fall off with a very gentle nudge).
