About– This mini lettuce variety produces 5” Boston-type heads with bright green leaves that wrap around a yellow heart. This heat-tolerant variety is crunchy with superb flavor, that is great in a salad or grilled whole.
Planting– Plant indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost or direct sow 4 weeks before the last frost. Lettuce prefers cooler temperatures. Grow 2 plants per 12” pot or leave 10” between plants in a raised bed.
Care & Harvest– Grow in the spring or fall as warm temperatures may cause plants to bolt or go to seed. Water consistently and harvest heads when they are about 5” round.
