Amish Country Organic, By Rohrer Seeds
About–Â This beautiful elongated radish is primarily red with a splash of white on the tip. Slightly milder than other summer varieties, and with its firm, crisp flesh, is ideal for dipping or as a salad topping.
When and Where to Plant–Â Plant 4-6 weeks before the last frost in spring or in late summer for a fall crop. Grow in full sun or partial shade. Prefers loose, fertile, well drained soil with a pH of 5.5 to 6.8
Care and Harvest–Â Harvest your radishes as they mature, usually within 25 to 30 days. Works well as a companion plant throughout the garden and helps to repel pests from other vegetables.
