Red Burgundy Okra Seeds
About–Â This 1988 AAS winner is a favorite heirloom of our company president! It will produce stunning, burgundy pods on beautiful, emerald-green foliage. The pods remain tender even when they reach a large size. When cooked, pods become a deep green color.
When and Where to Plant–Â Direct sow once the soil has warmed, approximately 4-6 weeks after the last frost. Prefers well-amended soil and full sun.
Care and Harvest– Water often. Thrives in the heat of summer. Harvest when pods are 6″ long or less to avoid toughness. Use pruners to remove pods from the stem.
