Stonehead Hybrid Cabbage Seeds
About-Â This well known AAS Winner is easy to grow and has excellent disease resistance. The medium sized heads are around 4-6 lbs. and have a unique greenish-blue color. Stores well and is a great addition to a variety of dishes.
When and Where to Plant–Â Start indoors and transplant outside 2-3 weeks before your last expected frost. Choose an area in the garden that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight. The soil should be well-draining with a pH around 6.5. For a fall crop start seedlings in May and transplant in June-July.
Care and Harvest–Â Harvest cabbage as soon as the head is firm all the way through when you squeeze it. Cabbage is a heavy feeder, so be sure to fertilize well.
